The year 2012 marks the 90th Anniversary of Grace Baptist Church. Since 1922 Grace has ministered to Evansville's needs from 1200 N. Garvin Street. But Grace is not resting on her long and rich heritage. The church is engaging our culture through Biblical preaching based on the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. This is done through our wide and varied ministries including our Fish Bowl Cafe for youth, Sunday Night Student Worship at Grace (SW@G), our food and clothing banks, nursing home ministry, special ministries classes, deacons ministry, discipleship groups, senior adults (Evergreens), mission trips and more. My name is Rick Porter and I have the honor of serving Grace Baptist Church as their Associate Pastor. My wife Annalisa, our son William and I have served the Lord here at Grace since Sept. 2001. I served as pastor of  Emmanuel Baptist Church Rockville, In and Village Green Baptist Church, Michigan City, In prior to coming to Evansville.

As we draw near to 2012 the Student Ministry at Grace is on a JOURNEY. In 1kings 19:7 "The angel of the Lord said get up and eat for the JOURNEY is too great for you..." As our students go through their life JOURNEY it is too much for them to handle on their own. So we will be traveling on a JOURNEY of worship, Faith, Holy living, surrender and many other areas of the life that God has for us. If life is full for you right now and you don't know where to turn, God has a plan for you, turn toward Him!
